Today, we attended a day Teamwork Workshop at our Campus which was requested by me a few months back to be organised for my staff. I want them to know what is it about TEAMWORK. Yes, my team has a very good teamwork spirit but still we need to strengthen the spirit among the people in the team to work together towards one common goal. Eventhough we are working in a comfort zone but we need to be cautioned of the danger zone too. In teamwork, we must be willing to criticise and accept criticise to work as ONENESS.Usually when you are attending a workshop, you will be given on the objectives of the workshop but this time the facilitator wanted it to be the opposite where the participants to provide the objectives of the workshop. We came out with the following objectives:
1. to "IMPROVE" the skill of a good team player;
2. to "NURTURE" the skill of a team leader;
3. to "IMPROVE" communication skills;
4. to "BETTER" understand one another
We were divided into 3 groups and one of our activities was:

What I have learned from this workshop are:
1. Be knowledgable, learn from experience and practice
2. Be positive and trust yourself
3. Be responsible with the processes/procedures
4. Be busybody with your work
5. Adapt to the situation, environment and change
6. Respect each other because everyone is different
7. Be inspired, to go further
8. Team can work beyond their responsibilities
