It was our University's Annual Dinner 2010 last night, 13th November 2010. Everyone attended wore their own unique hat and headgear to match the theme "Night of The Hats". I wore beaded headgear called "peta" in Lun Bawang language for the night to match my pua kumbu skirt. It looked good on me (puji diri sendiri.. hehehe...). Everyone enjoyed the night!

When end of the year approaching, most companies, organisation, associations etc are busy preparing for their Annual Dinner event (this includes Pre-Christmas Dinner cum New Year celebration).
This year our University's Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday, 13th November 2010 with the theme "Night of the Hats". I collected my dinner ticket last week but I am yet to get myself a Hat for the dinner. I am still not sure what kind of hat to wear for the night. I have a few in mind but yet to make a decision what to wear. ... SIGH...
Long time ago, we thought that it was impossible to be able to meet with old friends and families once we left school, college, university, town, etc. The only way for us to keep in touch with friends and families was via a phone call and it was expensive to make a phone call to other town/city/country too. At that time, little did we know about the technology which can connect people in the fastest and cheapest way.
Nowadays, with advanced technology the world is getting smaller. Internet allows people to connect within a few seconds, even thought they are separated by million miles away. It is just amazing and it is like a dream that we are able to get in touch with old friends, distant families, former workmates, buddies, etc just by clicking on the websites.
The world is in our hand now as it is very easy to get connected from everywhere in the world. If you need updated/latest information, it is just a click away..... Either we like it or not, either we want it or not, the technology is evolving. We need to always keep abreast with the advanced technology of tomorrow.....

October will be ended within the next few days. It is time of the year when a lot of us reflect what we being went through for year 2010 so far, and what is truly important in our lives for this year before we are into 2o11.
For me, so far there are nothing exciting. It seems like everything around me is just stay stagnant and slow moving. Is it a matter of slowing down to enjoy life to the fullest?
It has been not a good year for me but I am thankful that I still standing strong facing all the obstacles with smiles! I asked a few of my friends and they said that this year so far not good for them too.
This song was played by our energetic Cardio Dance's instructor, Charles Tan when we did our cool down session on Monday. Charles loves to play us nice songs towards end of the cardio session. Everyone loves it!

I have been thinking of getting a new handphone within the last few months. The brands that came into my mind were Sony Ericsson and Nokia, not to be missed the trendy Blackberry and iPhone. After much thought, Blackberry and iPhone are out from my list. And now down with Sony Ericsson and Nokia on the list but I decided to stay loyal with Sony Ericsson since I have been using Sony for long.
Lately, every time I go to the shopping malls, I must stop at the handphones' shop to take a look at the latest Sony Ericsson. I am eyeing for Sony Ericsson Aino and Xperia X10 Mini Pro.... oh it is just difficult to decide either should I or should I not getting a new handphone???
