Besides visiting the Gading National Park. We also visited two attractive beaches in Lundu. This beaches have attracted many people from Kuching to come down to spend their weekends with families and friends. I used to go there a lots during my childhood when my dad worked in Lundu in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. At that time, Lundu is still not very popular and you need to board a ferry across the Sungai Batang Kayan to reach Lundu town. Nowadays, you can go to Lundu using the Batang Kayan bridge (completed in year 2005) and the ferry service is not available anymore. Lundu is a nostalgic place with lot of memories to me because I grown up here.
